An anonymous Blogger named Mr Monkey, has certainly ruffled and exposed to public view a number of Councillors and Officials at A North-East Labour Controlled South Tyneside Council, ,which is based in South Shields, who have been pursuing legal action in the U.S.A. against an anonymous Tyneside "Blogger" known as Mr.Monkey
who has levelled a stream of allegations and criticisms against Councillors and Council Officers, (Nothing New There Then) if they can't stand the Heat ,leave the kitchen.
Since 2008 Mr Monkey's allegations against Councillors have ranged from Ballot-Rigging,” “Drug-taking" and "Fiddling Expenses" I always thought that was par for the course, and even claimed that One Councillor Successfully Ordered a Public Bus to Turn around and Pick him up from a Pub late at night.

The legal action to unmask the Culprit was brought by Three Councillors and One Senior Official:“ Ian Malcolm,“ the Council’s Labour Leader, “David Potts“ , former Conservative Group Leader who is now an independent, Anne Walsh, a Labour Councillor, and Rick O’Farrell, head of enterprise and regeneration.

I remember the “Mouth of the Tyne “ or Mr. Newcastle T.Dan Smith .
Friend, John Poulson, and don’t forget Andrew “Andy” Cunningham,
Even the Three First Class scoundrels “Blair,” “Brown” and the Prince of Darkness Himself, would have had to kept their hands in their pockets when those boys were around ? looks like allegations of corruption involving politicians ? Is again on the move . Things haven’t changed. just the names.

This action is believed to have cost “Council Tax Payers “ hundreds of thousands of pounds. “ Not , you will note, their own money” very similar if not Identical to Hartlepool Borough Council's policy of spending or shall I say wasting Tax payers money ?
No doubt I will be criticised, but I would like readers to remember that for over 65 Years I was , as was my late father, a Fanatical, I mean a real Fanatical Labour Supporter, Old Labour, not that Cynical invention of Blair, Brown and the Prince of Darkness Himself, Peter Mandelson , once M.P. and now Freeman for my home town “Hartlepool” Unbelievable , but true.

Local Brus Ward Election
Sunday 2nd May 2011.
A quick update of my activities of late and my apologies, if anyone is interested , of my lack of blogging recently due to illness.
I am currently recovering from a another attack of what I can only call Gouty Arthritis, very painful, which , in addition to my other cocktail of health problems, have kept me housebound and in fact bed bound for over five weeks recently, unfortunately my wife also suffers with a walking problem, so much so that we have purchased a wheelchair for her and a Electric Mobility Scooter for myself, I did intend to buy from E-Bay a name plate for the Electric Scooter, but I was a little disappointed to note that my preferred choice of “codhead” was seen in town and obviously already taken by another I assume, old Hartlepudlian,
I’m thinking of trying for “fishface “ which my wife says it’s a fair description for an ageing old fart and a ex-pupil of Galley’s Field Secondary Modern (aka. The Eton of the North ) you don’t get an education like that these days, ( left 1946 ) .
To-Day, I received my first BRUS WARD Local Council Election leaflet, entitled
“ITS TIME FOR CHANGE “, Michelle Anne Plant. which is exactly what very many of the honest citizens of Hartlepool have been shouting about for some considerable time, on the “ONLY” site that their views can be read,

Needless to say, I personally cannot support anyone seeking re-election and claiming to be your “committed” local Independent candidate , what as she achieved to-date, NOTHING-- she also says she will resolve all residents issues who contact her, this statement IS COMPLETE AND UTTER RUBBISH , a political lie, whether you agree with me is a matter of choice,
I have had a personal experience in submitting my “one “ and “only” complaint to Councillor Michelle Anne Plant, she did visit our home once, and after viewing the neighbours extension built without planning permission and physically attached to our wash-house back wall, stated after inspecting our Land Title Property Deeds that it was clear that we where the owners of the property in dispute, and quoted “ I am on the Planning Committee and I will see to it that that extension built without Planning Permission will be demolished? Still waiting after two years +.
Not only was it not demolished but was given retrospective planning permission by the unelected Planning Officer Richard Trow without going before the Planning Committee , so much for Democracy in Hartlepool, and highlights the usefulness and effectiveness of Councillor Michelle Anne Plant on the Planning Committee. Unforgivable conduct.
She did send me a couple of e-mails later, which were meaningless, recommending that I take my complaint to the Ombudsman or the Civil Courts,?

It is now several months since I wrote in reply to you, ( delay due
to illness ) objecting to your review of my freedom of Information
request , were I was asking for copies of all documents
particularly Certificates of Ownership, “A” and “B” that Hartlepool
Council Planning claimed to have been scrutinised to establish and
“VALIDATE” the true ownership of the disputed Land and Property
before granting the Controversial Retrospective Planning
Application H / 2009 / 0568 .These documents were refused by Hayley
Martin and again by you the Reviewing Authority.
My allegations of a “Conflict of Interest “ in that you personally
would be unable to give a unbiased decision was based on my
knowledge that you were personally aware that we Alan Harvey
Flounders and Jacqueline Flounders were and still are the sole “
ABSOLUTE” legal owners of “ALL” Land and property detailed and
registered and recorded with Land Registry, Durham on 29th March
1984. On Land Title Documents CE 74844 copies of these Legal Land
Title Documents where given to you in person by me, in your office,
in December 2008 and again in January 2009. and therefore I
maintain, that you were fully aware that these original legal Land
Title Deeds CE 74844, and other documents where issued and signed
by your own Legal Departments Chief Solicitor, J Anthony Brown, in
addition to our redemption payment of mortgage, acknowledged by
J.D. Walton I.P.F.A. Chief Financial Officer, when we purchased the
said property from Hartlepool Council on 1st February 1984.
It is my understanding from my solicitor, that when the Land
Registry registers a particular piece of freehold land for the
first time it will give it one of three (3 ) “classes” of title.
These are :- 1.Absolute 2.Qualified, 3.Posssessory
“ Absolute “ is the best class to have as it is “indefeasible,”
i.e. once it is granted the proprietor is recognised as the
“absolute owner” and no one can challenge his ownership, even if it
appears that a person may have a genuine claim to the land.”
Land Title Deeds CE 74844 Title Absolute, clearly shows EXACTLY
what Property and Land Details we PURCHASED when buying our Council
House from you, Hartlepool Borough Council, in February 1984,
Our Land Title Deeds were confirmed and signed by Hartlepool
Borough
Councils, Chief Solicitor J Anthony Brown, and our Solicitors
Levinson, Walker and Lister, our Receipt for our MORGAGE Redemption
Final Payment was Signed by Hartlepool Borough Councils Chief
Financial Officer Mr. J.D. WALTON, ( which we still Possess )
Your Legal Department are aware of all this, yet your Legal
Department ( to whom both you and Hayley Martin are part of )
allowed Certificate s of Property Ownership "A" "B" to be submitted
for “VALIDATION” of property ownership for a Retrospective Planning
Application ( previously built “Without “ planning permission “ to
the planning authority, which was granted by Mr Reece and Richard
Trow, without any input of the Elected Councillors or without any
serious attempt to “ENSURE” that the applicant was the Legal owner
of the said land and property, Hartlepool Council Officials Mr
Richard Trow was also aware of our ownership, ( after his home
visit to take Photographs ) whoever submitted certificates “A” and
“B” did so in an attempt to deprive us of our Legally Purchased
Land and Property.
An examination of our Land Title Deeds CE 74844, which you were
well aware of, after examining them in December/January 2008/2009.
in addition to Richard Trow, Planning Officer, and your enforcement
officer Paul Burgon, who also examined our title deeds after his
visits, would have clarified the property dispute immediately . ?
Under the circumstances , Hartlepool Councils total failure to make
any attempt to resolve this property dispute , leaves us with no
alterative but to seek redress in law, We therefore give you
immediate notice that we intend to commence legal proceedings
against Hartlepool Council and the named Council Officers. I will
be asking the Court for Hartlepool Council and all Officials named
to produce and supply me will copies of all Documents we have
previously requested and any and all documents you possess to
disprove of entitlement of Land and Property Ownership. I still
posses all E-Mails and other letters which promised action but
failed to enforce

Update of the Arrest of Independent Hartlepool Councillor
Like the majority of people from Hartlepool , I personally was utterly bewildered and shocked , when it was announced in February 2011, that a well know and in some quarters, a very well respected Independent town councillor Geoff Lilley, ( who incidentally I have never met ) was arrested by Hartlepool Police and held in custody and questioned for some hours, regarding the allegations of cyber - bullying ? instigated by a fellow Councillor ( Labour ) Marjorie James. which were published on a very well known and greatly valued local political debating forum “High Tax Hartlepool” some of the posts are very interesting, well worth a look.
Without doubt this site H.T.H. has changed people awareness of local politics in Hartlepool and in my opinion it can only improve, without its voice there is no place to go ?
I like, many more Hartlepool Citizens, have been waiting patiently for the opportunity to visit a Court of Law, and personally witness one of the most spectacular events of the year in Hartlepool, the chance to hear about the political shenanigans and hanky-panky that rumour says happens on a weekly basis in Hartlepool Council.
Some even say, it resembles a rehearsal for a Christmas Pantomime , particularly in the Planning Department ?
This Cyber - Bullying case against the Independent Councillor Geoff Lilley has now been dropped, after the Crown Prosecution Service decided that, he had no case to answer, ?
If this decision pleases Councillor Geoff Lilley, then I am sincerely pleased for him, but I am personally a little disappointed that Councillor Geoff Lilley will not now be able to have his day in court, as he originally said he wanted.
I personally feel that his appearance, centre stage in court, would have guaranteed him pole position in the forthcoming local political elections.
I also believe, it would have been hilarious and a absolute nightmare for the prosecution to present their case, ? Something to do with ping - pong balls I believe ? And would have exposed to public view these arrogant, self-serving, hypocrites that they are.
Any normal person might have thought that Councillor Marjorie James (Labour ) would have been personally delighted that no further police action is to be taken over her allegations of Cyber-Bullying , but, evidently not,
it is reported that Councillor Marjorie James (Labour ) is said to be unhappy, deeply distressed and disappointed , that the Crown Prosecution Service have decided that the Independent Councillor Geoff Lilley
has no case to answer, in addition, she says, the advice received by the Crown Prosecution Service from the Hartlepool Police has not been successful in achieving the support she had hoped for. ?
Furthermore she is awaiting an “Explanation” from the Crown Prosecution Service, as to “Why” they are Not pursuing this matter further.?
One has to admire her audacity, or is it arrogance, some might even say ignorance, I leave others to decide ? but then she obviously feels she is a very Important and Influential Political Personality in Hartlepool, to ask the Crown Prosecution Service to give her a Personal explanation of their Legal Decisions ? I hope she receives a better response from the C.P.S. than I, a full council tax payer received from her colleagues on Hartlepool Council , particularly the Legal and Planning Departments,
I make no apologies in repeating, my own personal experience of my ONE ( 1 ) and ONLY Formal Complaint to Hartlepool Council ,I discovered that :-
Hartlepool Councils Complaints Procedure, is without doubt , a Total and Complete Shambles , a Utter Waste of Time, which was the reason I first started this very blog. the Dishonesty and Self Gratification and Incompetence of some Democratically Elected Hartlepool Councillors and most, if not all, the Unelected Council Officials , is mind blowing.
Obviously a complaint or a allegation of any Wrongdoing involving other Hartlepool Council Officers , is definitely , a non starter, considering, it's then a Hartlepool Council Officer investigating the alleged Misconduct of another Hartlepool Council Officer in Public Office, this is deceitful and dishonest. And I believe Criminal, (more to follow on this allegation ) In particular, :-
I find this attitude very distasteful and highly suspicious, after asking for a “Review “ of Hilary Martin’s ,the Solicitor and F.O.I. Officer, handling and refusal to produce for my inspection copies of ownership documents which would have proved the truth of my allegations of deception , to find that the “Reviewer “ was non other than Alyson Carman (who in turn is now the Legal Services Manager/Solicitor) and obviously a colleague of Hilary Martin who now holds the F.O.I. Office , the position formerly held by ( have a guess ) Alyson Carman,? This I believe is “Misfeasance in Public Office “

Hartlepool Independant Councillor arrested for allegidly posting critical comments on Internet site
A report published in the Northern Echo claims that a Hartlepool Independent Councillor Geoff Lilley, was quizzed by police on Friday February 4th 2011, following complaints posted on the popular local web-site, “High Tax Hartlepool,”
It is believed that councillor Lilley was arrested on suspicion of an offence under the Malicious Communications Act regarding remarks he is alleged to have made about a fellow councillor Marjorie James, of Labour,
Geoff Lilley spent eight hours in custody before being released on bail while further investigations are carried out.

To say that I have been critical of some council officers and Elected Councillors in the past would be an understatement, my Freedom of Information requests ( available on this site ) to Hartlepool Council and my one Formal Complaint establishes in my eyes that the present administration will attempt by any means to divert attention away from their own criminal wrongdoings , misadministration is endemic, most are incompetent , biased and unaccountable , and I believe that this is a deliberate attempt to discredit a Independent Councillor, who has the courage to stand up and tell the truth. so much for democracy and free speech in Hartlepool.
Apparently anyone who as been critical of anyone of this group of gangsters faces arrest.
It is believed that councillor Lilley was arrested on suspicion of an offence under the Malicious Communications Act regarding remarks he is alleged to have made about a fellow councillor Marjorie James, of Labour,
Geoff Lilley spent eight hours in custody before being released on bail while further investigations are carried out.

Protest sites are growing phenomenon. All are different, but one thing is certain, all those who
devote their time to create them believe that things need to change for the good of all,and dispute what many think,that things cannot change, they can and will if you but try.
A few years ago the arrogant dismissal of any formal complaint submitted by a member of the public, to Hartlepool Borough Council, and their refusal to communicate further, would have meant that any complainant would have found it very difficult if not impossible to pursue the matter any further. " NOT ANY MORE "
Now with the Internet, No One Hartlepool .Councillors or Hartlepool Council Employees will be able to hide their dishonest Actions from World Wide View.
Hartlepool Council's highly paid Officers, also have a Cavalier attitude to answering Freedom of Information Request, and Formal Complaints, if they don't ignore you Completely these Unelected Dictators are certainly past masters of Misinformation, Half Truths, and plain Downright Lies and many other Devious methods to Block, Divert or Bury any Vald Genuine Complaints to enable them to Hide from Public View Significant amounts of Maladministration for "their" Council friends and Colleagues in local government including some Elected Councillors ? how else can anyone explain the glaringly obvious and continued disgraceful "silence" of the men and women elected by the honest citizens of Hartlepool to represent them.

From my own experiences over the past two-three years to get a honest and truthful answer to a F.O.I. request or a courteous reply to a Formal Complaint, from Hartlepool Council, is very difficult if not totally impossible, their own on line system is a total disaster, most of what I have posted, disappears into cyberspace, never to be seen again. they even tried to have me banned/.gagged from using the site, What Do They Know,
they most certainly” must “ have some things to hide and in my case, will lie to conceal the truth, it certainly boosts my spirits to see enthusiastic and articulate people like yourself and others asking very valid questions.
The latest outrage of this Council is reported in the Northern Echo, a independent councillor has been quizzed by police following complaints posted on a Internet website, High Tax Hartlepool.
